RESPLENDENCE 2022

Resplendence is a cultural stitch of interschool events hosted by Vishwa Bhararti Public School, Noida annually. Our school has been successfully hosting this amalgamation of curious and creative minds for more than a decade now.

This year, our school hosted a two-day event on 25 th and 26 th August 2022 and we had immensely fascinating events like Dab and Splash, Eco forum, Arghya and Science Model Display. A total of 22 schools participated in different events from Noida , Delhi and NCR

The programme started with the auspicious lighting of the lamp ceremony by our Principal ma’am, and the chief guests for the first day, followed by a welcome song by our talented students.

‘Dab N Splash’ : This Art competition provides platform to all the art enthusiasts from different schools to showcase their artistic skills. The various categories under this event included -- Clay Modelling (For Class VI), Poster Designing (For Class VII-VIII), Portrait Making (For Class IX-X)and Mural on Board (For Class XI-XII).The judges for this event were- Ms. Anjali Agarwal and Ms. Roma Bahl. Around 20 schools across Delhi-NCR participated in this event.

‘Economics Symposium’

‘Economics Symposium’ is an annual competition which provides a medium to young, future economists to discuss and debate over topics related to world and economy. The participants were required to present their view points related to the given topics using a power point presentation.

The participants were given current topics like Impact of Strategic disinvestment on Indian Economy, Economic Slowdown In the US and Its Impact On Indian Economy And Sustainable Development Goals And Its Application In India. Around thirteen teams from top schools of Delhi-NCR participated in this highly competitive event.

The audience was captivated by the awareness and the viewpoints of the young minds. The event was judged and graced by Mr. Aman Bhalla, (Business Consultancy, EY )and (Kumar Abhishek ( research scholar)

ARGHYA

Arghya,an Inter school music event, is organized under the aegis of VBPS Noida every year Renowned Sitarist Padmashri Pt. Debu Choudhury ji instituted the rolling trophy in the memory of his revered guru Ustaad Mushtaq Ali Khan for the winner of the event. This year seven schools had participated in group classical song competition and the theme was Raga Chhotakhayal . Mrs. Shahana Banerjee and Shri Manoj Jha were the judges for the competition.

SCIENCE MODEL DISPLAY

As the world' s economy continues to grow at a rapid pace, one of the foremost challenges is to ensure Sustainable Development. With an intend to spread awareness about Sustainable Development Goal s , an inter school Science Model Display was organised as a part of Resplendence 202 2 . The themes for the two categories were ' Innovations for Sustainable Development' and Alternative Energy : Green Energy '

Twelve schools from Noida and NCR displayed their models . The geniuses of VBPS Noida had prepared a model on the theme Noiseless horn. The idea was to focus on sustainable cities and communities
