Vishwa Bharati Public School, Noida hosted its two day Annual Interschool Fest – "Resplendence 2019" in its school premises on 27nd and 28th August. Resplendence is a medley of events where the students are given several opportunities to showcase their talent.

Students from many eminent schools of Delhi/NCR region participated in different events spreading over the span of two days. The competition mainly targeted at providing a suitable platform for students to exhibit their creative streaks and explore diverse arenas in the process of shaping their personality.

The event was inaugurated by our esteemed Management Member Dr. Saroj Kaul by lighting the auspicious ceremonial lamp along with the Principal Mrs. Veera Pandey, Mrs Girja Mujoo(Head,Sr. School) and Heads of Pre-primary,Primary and Middle Departments followed by the felicitation of the judges.

The programme was also graced with the presence of eminent personalities -Padma Bhushan Pandit Debu Choudhary ji and Shri Prateek Choudhary

Three events were organised on the first day.

In order to promote the learning of Sanskrit language, an Interschool Sanskrit Dramatic Monologue   Competition   'Eklaabhinay' was organised.The Dhan wati Shambhunath Antr Vidyalaya Pratiyogita was judged by eminent Sanskrit scholars Shri Kuldeep Kumar (Gold medallist and Sanskrit reporter) and Ms Gauri Dwivedi(economist and journalist) The judges were highly impressed by the proficiency and confidence with which the students enacted. VishwaBharati Public School, Noida won this event while Ahlcon Public School, Delhi and Amity International School , MayurVihar bagged the second and third positions respectively. The judges addressed the gathering and encouraged everyone to appreciate Indian heritage and Sanskrit language.

Dab n’ Splash, an art competition, resulted in the creation of a myriad of innovative art works sprouting out from the brilliant minds of the students. The various categories under this event includedOn the spot painting (plantation), Painting on Pot, Water colour painting, Painting on Canvas, Indian Traditional painting. The event was judged by Ms Sonika Singh & Ms Manisha Pandey Mishra.
On the last day of the Resplendence ‘Arghya’, ‘Science Model Display’, e-NOVATORS -2019, and Talent Trials were held.

For ARGHYA: An Indian Classical Dance competition,the honorable judges were Smt Swagata Sen Pillai (Bharat Natyam exponent and Smt NrityashriAlaknanda. (Kathakexponent)).VBPS,Noida & Khaitan School , Noida shared the first position while Amity International School, Noida bagged the second position and the third position was won by Seth Anand ram Jaipuria, Ghaziabad .

DPS, Noida excelled in Science Model Display bagging the first position followed by Indirapuram Public School in IInd position. VBPS, Noida & Gaurs International School shared the 3rd position.

e-novators. 2019 is an yearly talent hunt where multiple I.T events run in parallel covering the arena of digital technology like python programming, AdMaking, Video making ,Adobe Photoshop, group discussion. More than twenty schools and 200+ students participated from all over Delhi-NCR.

Students show cased their talent with full potential and innovative ideas. Eminent judges like Pawan Mittal(Adobe Systems), Daraksh Khan(Adobe Systems), Nikhil Rajput(Delhi University), joined the show and judged the events. VBPS, Noida shared the first position with Gurukul The School ,Ghaziabad.

‘Water Conservation – The need of the hour’ was the theme for Talent Trials .VBPS, Noida and Gurukul The School came 1st followed by VBPS , Ghaziabad and Bal Bharati Public School , Noida at 2nd & 3rd position respectively.

The school also organised the Inter School Athletics Meet -2019. Over 210 athletes from 11 schools from NCR region actively participated in a series of track and field events for both boys and girls.

The final record for all categories included 60m, 200m, 400m , 800 m race & 1500m ,long jump, discus throw, shot put ,4X400m relay race ,4X100 m relay race(Boys & Girls).

Kanishq Tomar & Shambhavi Vidya of VBPS, Noida came 1st in 1500m race in boys and girls category.

Kanishq Tomar of VBPS Noida and Shambhavi Singh of Amity International were declared the Best Athletes.

VishwaBharati Public School, Noida bagged the Overall Championship.
