Vishwa Bharati Public School, Noida celebrated its Annual Festival SAMVAHAN- ‘the conduit on Sunday, the 29th January 2017 at its school premises, amidst great zest, vibrance and elation. Shri Amolak Rattan Kohli (Former Governer of Mizoram)was the esteemed chief guest. Amongst other dignitaries present were Shri Jitendra Maharaj Ji (Renowned Kathak Maestro and Director Sangeetka Institute Of Performimg Arts), Mr Indrapal Jeet Singh(Versatile Actor – Hindi & Punjabi movies), Ms.Nalini & Ms Kamalini (Renowned Dancers ) and esteemed Management Members.

Musical invocation by the choir group of the school welcomed the guests and set the mood for the evening .The chief guest lit the ceremonial lamp to commemorate the festivities. The annual report by the Principal Mrs Rashmi Kakroo, highlighted the achievements by the school and thanked the Almighty for his abundant blessings .She particularly brought out the achievements of the meritorious students in class X and class XII in the All India Board examinations. The chief guest rewarded the meritorious students in academics and extra-curricular activities. In his address to the gathering the chief guest appreciated the efforts put in by the Principal and her dedicated team in bringing up a quality educational institution in the NCR. He lauded all the prize winners and exhorted all students to achieve even greater heights.

The evening witnessed a colourful array of programmes.The skit “The Apple Tree “by the tiny tots of the school stole the hearts of all. The theme of the evening was the integration despite the diversities in culture and practices, which is the strength of the nation. This message was very aptly brought out in the fusion of dance and drama ‘SAMVAHAN the conduit’. The audience were enthralled by the colourful and well choreographed array of dances from across India by the students attired in colourful costumes.The students also staged an English play “The Elves & the Shoe Maker” which added extra zing to the evening.

The evening culminated by the vote of thanks by Mr.J.L.Kaul (President, Vishwa Bharati Women’s Welfare Institution).
