S.N Ganju Inter School English Debate
 
 
Vishwa Bharati Public School, Noida organized ‘S.N.Ganju Memorial Inter School English Debate’ on 10th Nov 2017 in the school premises.15 schools from Delhi -NCR region debated on the topic: “We Have Democratic System But No Democratic Values’

The programme commenced with the formal welcome accorded by the school choir followed by the auspicious lightening of the lamp. The Guests of Honour were Rotarian PraveenGupta, President of the Rotary Club of Noida, Rotarian Major Dalbir Singh Director New Generations Rotary Club of Noida. Mr.R.K.Hak, Senior Management Member, Vishwa Bharati Women’s Welfare Institute & Dr V.K. Ganju, Gen. Secretary VBPS Noida. The judges who picked the winners were Mrs. Anshu Agarwal, Secretary, Kalptaru Society, Mrs. Monika Solanki, winner of Dronacharya Award for team growth and development & Mr. Aman Kohli, an alumnus of the prestigious Delhi College of Engineering and Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies.

Aura Bhandari and Deeksha Suri from Apeejay School, Noida emerged as the Best-Speakers (for & against).The overall trophy and Best- team was also bagged by Apeejay School, Noida, while VBPS Noida were the runners-up.

Principal, Mrs.Rashmi Kakroo proposed a vote of thanks."
 
Resplendence 2016
 

Vishwa Bharati Public School, Noida hosted its three day Annual Interschool Fest – “Resplendence 2016” in its school premises from 22nd to 24th August 2016. Resplendence is a medley of events where the students are given several opportunities to show their talent.

Over 1000 students from many eminent schools of Delhi/NCR region participated in Eight different events spread over the span of three days. The competition mainly targeted at providing a suitable platform for students to exhibit their creative streaks and explore diverse arenas in the process of shaping their personality.

The programme commenced on 22th August 2016 with the lighting of the lamp . On this day three events were organised – Dab n’ Splash, Dhanvati Shambhunath Ambardar Sanskrit Dramatic Monologue and Athletic Meet.

In order to promote the learning of Sanskrit language, an Interschool Sanskrit Dramatic Monologue Competition was organised.It was judged by eminent Sanskrit scholars Dr. Shatrughana Tiwari and Prof Md Hanif Khan Shastree. The judges were highly impressed by the proficiency and confidence with which the students enacted. Vishwa Bharati Public School, Noida won this event while Ahlcon Public School, Delhi and Somerville School Noida bagged the second and third positions respectively. The judges addressed the gathering and encouraged everyone to appreciate Indian heritage and Sanskrit language.

 
 

Dab n’ Splash, an art competition, resulted in the creation of a myriad of innovative artworks sprouting out from the brilliant minds of the students. The various categories under this event included .On the Spot Painting Competition, Painting on Canvas and Wall Hanging Somerville, Noida grabbed the first prize, Vishwa Bharati Public School, Noida and VBPS Greater Noida won the second prize and the third prize was won by DPS Vasundhara. The consolation prize was won by VBPS, Dwarka and Cambridge, Noida .

On the penultimate day of the Resplendence Science Symposium, Social Science Project display and English skit competitions were held. The Social science display saw 14 schools participating, Amity Int., Noida stood 1st followed by VBPS, Greater Noida who stood 2nd and DPS, Noida stood 3rd. The event was judged by Mr. M.L Verma Krant and Mr. Jugalkishor


DPS, Noida showed their acting prowess in the English Skit and were declared the winners, Lotus Valley, Noida came IInd and Bal Bharati, Noida won the IIIrd prize.
The award for Best actor went to Riya from VBPS, Noida

Two major events,Araghya- an Interschool Music Competition and Mathematica were held on the Final day of the three day fest. We had an eminent panel of judges to witness the event. For ARGHYA: An annual music competition, we had with us the honorable judges Mrs. Deepti Pandit Sharma and Mr. Sanjay Bhatnagar. (Renowned AIR artists)
Somerville,Noida bagged the first position. There was a tie between VBPS Noida and VBPS GreaterNoida for the Second position and the Third position was won by DPS vasundhra.
The overall rolling trophy (Ustad mushtaq Ali Khan rolling trophy) was won by Somerville,Noida.
